A young woman with long, wavy blonde hair sitting on a wooden chair, looking thoughtfully to the side. She is indoors with a colorful abstract painting in the background and some plants around her.

About

I am Christin Voscort, a contemporary artist based in Berlin, Germany.

My work is a visual exploration of what it means to reconnect with our inner selves. Through vibrant, emotive portraits and expressive depictions of hands, I aim to capture moments of vulnerability and authenticity, where emotion exists without performance. Using acrylic paint as my primary medium, I build layers of color and tension, sometimes enhanced with oil pastels and colored pencils to deepen texture and feeling. The thin tape line, a recurring element in my work, symbolizes the delicate boundaries between the visible and the hidden, the self we show and the one we keep within.

Each piece is an invitation for viewers to pause, reflect, and feel, to engage with their own emotions and thoughts in a space of honesty and healing. My hope is that through this shared introspection, we recognize the beauty of our human complexity.
